World Week of Peace for Palestine and Israel (WPPI) culminates tomorrow on the UN International Day of Peace.  Today’s worship service adapts resources provided by the World Council of Churches.  With images of struggle and unrest around the world these days – along with a global pandemic – Burt Bacharach’s words, “What the world needs now, is love sweet love” – couldn’t be more true.  The theme for this year’s Week of Peace is Creative Solidarity in Common Fragility.  Alone we are fragile and vulnerable but united in love and solidarity, humanity is a force to be reckoned with.
