As we approach Dec 22nd, the longest night of the year, we are reminded of the darkness that sometimes surrounds us. We may find this “joyous” time of year especially difficult, or we may be longing for just a quiet, reflective time to acknowledge that life is not always filled with joy especially at Christmas. Perhaps a loved one has died, a relationship has ended, you’re struggling with unemployment or underemployment, or the state of the world or illness or some other form of loss. This service seeks to acknowledge the darkness as together, we look for glimmers of hope that shine in the darkness. All are invited to come.
